It was a pleasure working with Tom, Laurie, and the Campbells crew every step of the way on our island house and boathouse projects. Initially, we were concerned about the logistics of building on an island but, early on, it became clear that Campbells was completely comfortable and competent with projects on the lakes. Ours was a family endeavor: my brother and I and our two families. The two couples had very different backgrounds in design and building, and Campbells was both patient and accommodating to the different perspectives. We would look no further than Ed Campbell Construction for any future building needs.

We bought our cottage on Lake Joe in 1983 and started a relationship with Tom’s father Ed Campbell who looked after our needs extremely well until his retirement. When Ed’s son Tom took over from Ed, we continued the relationship which has been excellent and continues today. In 2006, we took down our small cottage and Tom and his crew built our new cottage, a 4,000 square foot, six bedroom structure. The workmanship and quality are second to none! Tom has always responded to our requests promptly and efficiently. We have the highest regard for Tom and Laurie and have no hesitation in strongly recommending them for any cottage or construction requirements.
